My mum is special because she cares so deeply about animals and spends much of her time rescuing them. And I always think how much someone cares about animals reflects on what sort of person they are.

She’s understanding, patient and entirely selfless, kind caring, considerate and everything I aspire to be!
My mum has and always shall be my hero. Through her life she has faced and sacrificed so much yet always with such positivity. On splitting with my dad when I was 11 and my brother 8, she worked hard to provide for us, working part time and putting herself through night school to gain bookkeeping qualifications all to create a better future for us all. She has battled so much that it’s not right for me to share, and is currently being so strong as my step-dad battles aggressive cancer. She is an inspiration, a great role model, the most incredible Grandma who has instilled such amazing values of love and manners and kindness in my daughter, just like she did me. There is no one in my world that deserves something special to say thank you for all that you do and all that you are, Mum.
