So what’s your story?
Note from our creative director.
One of the main factors responsible for igniting my love of fashion was my Grandma; a lady of incredible style, enviable elegance and a devoted mother to eleven children.
Her sense of style and natural ability to create the most wonderful outfits on her Singer sewing machine, encouraged me to pursue my career in Fashion.
I will always remember my green ra-ra skirt that she made for me at the age of 9 - I felt like I was the envy of every school disco…!
With that in mind, here at REW, we are thinking that a real life ‘blog’ might be a great way for you to share your fashion faux pas and triumphs.
Get your fingers at the ready and fire-up your laptop; dust off your typewriter or grab your pen and paper to enter our “So what’s your story…?” competition.
How do I enter we can hear you asking…?
Well, it's pretty simple.
All you have to do is tell us, in no more than 500 words, a simple short story about you, your fashion faux pas or fashion triumphs.
Tell us about your favourite outfit; tell us how an outfit brings back special memories; you can even tell us how REW has enhanced your look… It can be humorous or heartfelt – we really don’t mind and will love them all….
Why not include a few pictures old or new or even wearing your Rew.
What we love most about this competition is that it is about YOU – our valued REW customers.
Is there a prize? I can hear you cry! Well, considering Rachel Emma Wright, our creative director, is judging this competition, it's a bloody good one, let me assure you!
The lucky winner will be given the opportunity to collaborate with Rachel to create their very own unique, bespoke Rew scarf. They will also be able to choose a fantastic new Rew from the current range of our fleece “Essentials Range”.
In addition to this there will also be some fabulous prizes for three runners up:
- Our first runner up will receive a stylish Dogtooth scarf from our brand new collection.
- The second runner up will win a gorgeous Rewdle scarf.
- And the third runner up will win an exquisite Emily scarf.
This is an INCREDIBLE opportunity: to have your writing skills published and to create your very own “New Rew”.

Found your ad in a mag at the surgery while awaiting my visit. What a wonderful concept Rew scarves are! The red one is fab – I am dropping hints and hope that very soon my beloved will surprise me! All good wishes for a successfully continued future.
What a fabulous competition, Rachel. I’m just about to go through my old photo albums. Unlike you, I know there will be no major fashion triumphs jumping out at me! The trick will be to decide which of my many fashion faux pas to write about! I suspect it’s going to be something from the eighties but you never know.
What beautiful neck dressings, I love all three.
A competition- what a super idea, and what fun! I’m looking forward to letting my fingers race across the keys – can’t stop me once my imagination gets going.
